VTP Wins National Competition!The Virginia Tech Percussion Ensemble was awarded first place in the 2017 Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) University Chamber Music Competition! Members included the junior class of Virginia Tech Percussion (VTP- Steven Arnold, Jesse Hughes, Laura Moniuszko, Joshua Morrison, and Denver Nuckolls). They competed against undergraduate and graduate student ensembles from 13 universities across the country. Their performance consisted of Condon's Fractalia and Treuting's Extremes. |
